1. My cold is improving
2. I'm off to Ipswich on Saturday to see Joe Lycett and go to an international buffet, which is honestly as exciting as it gets these days.
3. We found no fleas on the cat last night.
4. The campaign to save the local M&S is bigger than Bowie on my FB.
 
Interesting: went to Kyoto and was caught in a cherry blossom BLIZZARD

Annoying: I have to go into work tomorrow after my early morning online lessons for ONE face to face lesson, FUMMING
 
6. It's horribly windy out there and I'm to town soon to help my mum buy a new mobile.

"No more than £120 and I want to own the handset"

Just filling in my complete work history for this application.

I've not had a permanent job since summer 2019!
 
Is it better to wish @Alex a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY here, or in the late night drunk moopy thread where he's very likely sloshing about on a bottle of cremant already?

There are a couple of Samsungs on this price range if she doesn't find android too confusing.
I got my dad one and he really likes it. And don't be afraid of smaller brands like Xiaomi, got one and I think it's good value for money.
 
I met my replacement at work yesterday, and part of the reason she decided to work there is because her old job required a vaccine and this one doesn't... my last day, April 28, can't come fast enough
 
I am busy packing for heading away tomorrow. Vera is dropping us off first thing and has already packed my sons stuff for him. She has left me and Shannon to our own devices as she knows we will need countless outfit changes per day. She is a true Earth angel!

My baking went down very well in the office.
The blueberry and pistachio buns and chocolate, rye and tahini cookies were a success. One of things I've really missed over past two years is baking, as wasn't worth the effort as stuff would go to waste !

Happy birthday.

If you ever feel like baking but worry the results will go to waste, I am happy to give all and any baked goods a good home.

Technically you guys were the first to know as I couldn’t make it public until the LOSERS had been informed.
