I don't think she would like to "get them all out there" actually. She notoriously put a block on all the unheard songs that were originally meant to feature on Hits+ for instance.
"too much time"??? I've been summonedsomebody with too much time to confirm!
I believe that was Dangerous Game, non? somebody with too much time to confirm!

"too much time"??? I've been summoned

I literally have too much time right now. And 10 more days of it.oh @Ag got there first
I definitely use the word SULTRY more due to Jark. That whole thread is making fun of Jark but he was a trendsetter
Really? The Anti-Tour was the ultimate in fan service and it probably cost her a bomb. Steve Anderson suggested as much in his interview with Kim Wilde.
I'd guess her lawyer might have stopped putting out unheard songs. I can't imagine she'd give a fat rat's if the fans were loving it.
The guy who was involved in the compilation (persona non grata THP from SayHey) claimed there was much resistance from her to the point that she wouldn't allow a photograph of her with blonde hair to be used on the cover. There are songs such as Soon (written by Nick Cave) and Chorus with Bono which she will never allow to see the light of day since she's unhappy with the finished products. Given that we've heard plenty of guff from her since, I question her quality control.

Her quality control generally seems terrible, which is why I'd always assumed she just lets everything out.
Some of the bsides (Cruise Control in particular) clearly came out of the "US requirement" as well. There's basically the ETERNAL Kylie problem of two separate albums going on at the same time...
I'm sorry I missed this, because I have a lot to say about Body Language.
Sometimes I think it's my favourite Kylie album of them all![]()
I’ve logged in to loads of notifications today! I was bopping all on my lonesome listening to it last night with nobody to enjoy it with!It does go off the boil at the end though. I'm equally baffled that Loving Days wasn't made the last track. As much as I like After Dark, it does feel like a bonus track tacked on to the end.
The disdain for Red Blooded Woman is shocking though. It's an absolute belter of a song and perfectly placed in the middle of the album.
I would probably hate RBW less if someone like Sugababes did it. It just sounds so fucking bizarre on this album. Even next to other R&B leaning songs that come after it
Someone did and it was wildly derided. Also didn’t moopy used to call it Woman Shitting Red?
I recall that name somewhere and I can’t think of anywhere else in the internet that I venture that would call it that![]()
The melody is certainly poppy. That poor attempt at the Timbaland production makes me cringe!
Funk, fun, sass, and confidenceOh she rips into Still Standing for sure.
Buckle up baby feel MY SPEED

She was very vocal (excuse the pun) at the time that this album gave her the opportunity to experiment with different kinds of deliveries. The recording of Chocolate being a case in point (she was practically starved of air in a swelteringly hot studio). That song for me is sensational (I know some hate it) and if there's is one track I think you have undermarked it is that.Phoning it in is probably an unfair assessment. Maybe more along the lines of certain songs don’t give her the opportunity to play to her strengths
When you listen to Still Standing and Sweet Music, every single note she sings is exploding with funk, fun, sass and confidence. Other songs not so much
