Sunday wants a wall of crisps

Girls what would you do. I have the formal offer for this job coming through tomorrow, but also have a final stage interview for another position next week, although the date is tbc.

If I got an offer from the other job that would be my preferred choice. Should I delay confirming the other job until I hear back, should I say why?

You can always withdraw after accepting. Surely.

What would happen if you accept and then change your mind if you get the other offer? A mild inconvenience for you and the company? It’s happened a few times at my work.

Yeah my gut feeling is to do that as the other job is no where near guaranteed. It feels a bit shitty but it must happen quite a lot?

I hate gardening out the front of the house. Why do neighbours want to talk?

That's the only reason I don't mind gardening at the front as much. It's not so much neighbours chatting here but the randoms walking past. If the tortoise is out with me too I usually end up with various children coming in the garden to have a hold of him.

It happens loads. We actively encourage people to do this because it's better to have the b-list job in the bag just in case the a-list one doesn't end up coming to anything.

You can always ask for your start date to be after you've heard back from the other job.
