I love a bit of Steps!

@lolly what will the traffic be like around and out of Bristol tomorrow? Will Glastonbury affect it?

I'm no driver but I reckon Glastonbury will have an affect on traffic in most of the south of England, it's pretty huge isn't it?

That's what I'm worried about. We need to leave Bristol tomorrow morning :argh:

Yes, it probably will. Going to Cheddar from Cribbs will probably be fine as you'll be on the M5 against traffic, but going home from Cheddar for you will probably inevitably meet a lot of Glastonbury traffic.

It's only like the population of somewhere like Portsmouth all deciding to leave within a few hours of each other, using A and B roads. No biggie!

If you leave Cribbs and go straight home, I imagine it will be busier but you'll be okay.

But I think your planned detour to Cheddar is possibly best avoided.

Ok thank you very much!

How we used to love Glastonbury when I worked for the (then) DSS in the early nineties. The week before and after was full of crusties (that was the main audience back then) breaking their journeys in Bristol, all claiming lost giros or for crisis loans. I can still smell the patchouli oil now.

Morning Moopy!

Got up at six and went to the car boot sale LITERALLY outside my door, did a fruitless 12000 steps and found fuck all, argued with a man who knocked an old woman almost off her feet trying to get at a newly out of a boot pile of records, went and bought a paper and was UTTERLY ASTONISHED that an Observer is £3.50 nowadays (thank you Waitrose and your “free paper when you spend a tenner” deal but also fuck you Waitrose for stopping it), went and bought some lovely Sourdough and made Mr Sheena a lovely breakfast for his birthday today.

Might go get in the sea in a minute before a relaxing Sunday.

I got up about 45 minutes ago, had a piss, made a cup of coffee, came back to bed, had a necessity wank and am just thinking about having another hour or so of sleep.

I got up at 7am, cleared up cat vomit, put eye drops in the rabbits eye, got on a ferry and now I'm somewhere on a motorway.

Is Rupert Bear still going? I remember him being friends with a quite racist-looking Chinese dog character, who I assume no longer appears (though as I recall the comic strip was printed in the Daily Express so maybe he does :o)

Got a paw print tattoo, joined sexy dating website Fab Guys and ended up having his bussy torn off in the toilets at Taco Bell :(

The whereabouts of the quite racist-looking Chinese dog character are unknown but there was some sort of METH INCIDENT apparently

Oh you mean PONG PING.

Feeling TRES CONTINENTAL with an ice cold ORANGINA and half a MALBORO LIGHT I didn’t finish last night :disco:
