Moving Monday

I’m also stating at my sisters until I can move into the new house on Friday and it’s a decision I REGRET as I barely have any plans all week and everyone is busy so I’ll have NOTHING TO DO :(

Do you get on with your sister? I love having days where I do nothing, although maybe not in someone else's home.

Mandy and I have both woken up feeling awful, slightly concerned it may be covid after gloating that we've never had it.

Yeah we get on fine! It’s just that she’ll be at work and her house is miles away from the city centre so it’s a bit of a faff getting into town.

Oh that is annoying. Any nice cafes or walks near by?

Moopy I need help.

We get a LOT of the same questions in the shop;

Do you make everything here (yes)
Do you buy the gift boxes in (no, we had wrap everything)
How long does a batch take

Etc etc.

We have a large space behind our counter and wanted to do a board of FAQS.

But we aren't sure how to do it to grab people's attention.

Are we best off bullet pointing?
Or doing a brainstorm style board?
Or a poem?

Or any other suggestions.

People are stupid. You could have someone shouting it in their face on entry and they’d still ask the same questions.

Been for my pre-op Covid test so I'm in lockdown again till Thursday. Probably shouldn't have gone to Tesco on the way home but it was only old bodgers in there and they were all wearing masks so I should be OK.

I go to a lovely fudge shop in the local market and it's all vegan - not that I'm vegan but it actually tastes nicer!

They have chalk boards outside and inside with a bunch of info and it's really clear.

Hi mopsy, I move out of my flat today :(

So is the girl who lives across the hall and she proceeded to knock on all the doors in the building at 8 in the morning because her car was blocked in
Update: Her car is STILL blocked in :D

I recognise the car so it’s clearly someone who lives in the building so they must be HIDING.

Aren't regional shopping centres depressing?

I mean I guess MOST shopping areas are depressing now, but when Wilko and Iceland are the major players, even more so.

We do 2 vegan fudges and they're really nice. What's the fudge place called?

Yeah I'm thinking clearly written, maybe bullet points.

It’s here:

I got a whole bunch of fudge at a pop-up stall at a festival last year from these guys and now keep buying them for people:

They’re lovely but The Fudge Patch vegan one in the local market is cheaper.

Really wish I hadn’t said yes to today’s work but here we are, 6 day week  its fucking hot too, 31 degrees but feels like 37 apparently. It was 40 in central Japan on Saturday.

And it’s not even supposed to be summer yet, they promised 6 weeks of rainy season and NOTHING

Oh and it’s supposed to be 34 on Thursday when I go back there for the morning, and after lunch we all go to the ZOO for 3 hours.

Good luck kids, I’ll be under ANY SHADE, come and find me eating an icecream and trying not to combust

I’m absolutely fucking knackered from 2 days camping. OLD.

Bolton is a horror nowadays. Poundshops, bookies and charity shops and traffic wardens hiding around every corner in case you accidentally put a car wheel near a double-yellow line. The big shopping centre is like a ghosttown with shutters everywhere since Debenhams closed, they closed the underground carpark right in the centre of town during the first Covid lockdown and it's never reopened. Unsurprisingly the majority of the footfall now is feral youths and traffic-light beggars, if it weren't for Town Cafe (a greasy spoon) I'd never go there again.

I just can't believe that we've all moved on from the Frog Song so quickly! Actually yes I can.

I'm not dismissing it out-of-hand, but based on assumed knowledge, probably not.
I spend my camping weekends walking and drinking lambrini :disco:

I assumed Ron was on a family camping trip.

We've just had a huge lorry drive into us on the motorway :(

Very scary, but also frustrating because the driver was Romanian and didn't speak a word of English so we struggled to get any insurance details :argh:
