That Tuesday looks like Ireland 🇮🇪

The saga of which school I was going to be moved to when mine closes has been drawn-out, with many twists and turns and eventually crushing resignation that I’d be going to the worse of the two options.

Except in a sudden twist they’ve told me just now that I’m going to the one I wanted!! :disco: I just hope it’s actually good now :D
 
Good afternoon! I ended up having a load of non-specific moving stress last night and so ended up getting about two hours of sleep, or at least that's how it felt :( The annoying thing is that everything is actually going pretty well on that front, but this is just how my stupid brain processes stuff I suppose :angry:
 
KINDA SEMI- OFFICIAL BUSINESS LAUNCH DAY TODAY

Well I've popped it on LinkedIn and that seems to have already generated a few leads throughout my network, which isn't a bad start for basically nothing.
 
Having lunch al-desko. The three baby seagulls on the roof opposite us have been flapping their wings a bit again and it's just the cutest thing. You have to actively remind yourself that these chicks will one day shit on your head and steal your food.
 
Well I did what I always do and went too far too soon and fucked myself up again. I drove Mr F to his dentist appointment this morning and on the way home I decided I'd stop at Tesco for some fags and a few other bits. Less than 500 shuffling steps later and I was in pain and pissing blood again. How the NHS have the gall to say you can get on with your normal life is beyond me. :(

I actually felt fine this morning, didn't need any painkillers when I got up and urine was the usual colour. Think I'm just going to take to my bed till the stent comes out on the 14th, I was actually thinking I might get back to work in between but that's looking unlikely. :D

HerSereneHighnessAnniFrid came into my school yesterday to speak at my assembly to launch Diversity Week, and he spoke about being the only mixed race child in his school, and being gay.

Today a teacher came to me with this, after a task where they had to design a flag about something that mattered to them, and said the child had written it “for HerSereneHighnessAnniFrid” ❤️ 😭
