Hello

What's happening with the catI'm moving out this evening, I'm really not sure how I feel about it all but currently not looking forward to it. The cat was climbing all over me last night, maybe he can tell I won't see him for a while![]()

God I hate having to workMorning Moopy.
I have self diagnosed heathcliff with diabetes. Again. I think I've decided he has it about 7 times in the last few years
What a beautiful sunny day, we spent the evening on the beach last night. @lolly you need to move to the seaside soon! View attachment 11269

I think it's an easy task for cats to become accustomed to interpreting what packing suitcases etc means.I'm moving out this evening, I'm really not sure how I feel about it all but currently not looking forward to it. He's staying here for now - I'm putting my flat on the market pretty much straight away (getting the photos taken and home report carried out on Monday), so I'm thinking it would be a bit too disruptive for him to be there when people are coming to view the place etc. Once I've accepted an offer I might bring him over, or if the whole thing moves quicker than expected I'll just wait and move him into wherever I end up buying (I don't know how long the whole process takes at the momentWhat's happening with the cat![]()

No, neck cramp is an acorn squash in your pillowcase.Woke up with neck pain and a leg cramp. I should have listened to Rachey and put a potato in my bed just in case.
Wait I thought yesterday was Friday?![]()

The moral of this story is.... ALWAYS LISTEN TO ME!Woke up with neck pain and a leg cramp. I should have listened to Rachey and put a potato in my bed just in case.
Absolutely! I don't think people who don't live by the sea realise how much you need it once you've got it. It's just so calming.I did the same. Living on the beach in the summer is essential for me. Outside as much as possible!
Open a fudge shop wherever you goGod I hate having to work
So so true. And that annoying feeling that something is not right or something is missing when in a place where there's no sea.Absolutely! I don't think people who don't live by the sea realise how much you need it once you've got it. It's just so calming.
That kayaking the other week has let me know I don't have the shoulders for fudge paddling.Open a fudge shop wherever you go![]()
Perhaps it's partly coming from an island nation, but the idea of living in a landlocked country seems utterly bizarre to me.So so true. And that annoying feeling that something is not right or something is missing when in a place where there's no sea.

You build the muscles up.Yes! Like when we visited the Peak District, it was absolutely beautiful...but the sea was missingSo so true. And that annoying feeling that something is not right or something is missing when in a place where there's no sea.
I've noticed that if I visit a place that's landlocked but has a lake my mind shuts up from craving a big body of water and a horizon.Perhaps it's partly coming from an island nation, but the idea of living in a landlocked country seems utterly bizarre to me.

That's why it's not known as the Sea District.Yes! Like when we visited the Peak District, it was absolutely beautiful...but the sea was missing
We still have RESERVOIRSYes! Like when we visited the Peak District, it was absolutely beautiful...but the sea was missing

I've just seen your vegan fudge tiktok. I'm definitely not up to that. You build the muscles up.
I feel like dogs cope well with diabetes. Cats are twats, cats don't like to be injected. My parents dog has diabetes, she has to have insulin twice a day, and amazingly, if you forget or miss the time she has it, she comes and starts nudging/fussing you to remind you. She also occasionally spazzes out.
Oh don't get me wrong, I like a reservoir. And a river. And a mountain with waterfalls. But it's just not quite the same.We still have RESERVOIRS![]()
No one is up to vegan fudge. Bloody vegans. I curse them every time I make their delicious fudge.I've just seen your vegan fudge tiktok. I'm definitely not up to that.
You can survive the night. Do you have your PHONE CHARGER? This is imperative.I’ve lost my keys! Locked out of the flat and my spare set is at a mate’s house who’s on holiday!
His flat mate is also out of town as is seemingly EVERYONE I KNOW.
Long story short I now have a glamorous night ahead of me at Bethnal’s Green’s TRAVELODGE.
Would have a HOTEL ORGY if only I had the ENERGY.
