Loves a private members bill. Leave supporter but resigned from government over the Internal Markets Bill allowing UK to unilaterally withdraw from international agreements (which was some foreshadowing!). Probably one of the more politically interesting contenders - he hasn’t got a hope.
 
Dishy Rishi seems alright but I don't follow it all THAT closely so maybe it's just a front for a total cunt.

Mostly said this for the poetry
 
He's a total cunt with a nice smile, well groomed hair and penchant for production values.
 
Honestly, on balance we should probably be hoping that Rishi wins at this stage.
 
I just have to keep reminding myself that they're all a better option than Johnson.

Oh that’s really not true at all I’m afraid.

On a lot of issues, Johnson was relatively benign on account of him being a complete moral void who doesn’t actually believe in anything beyond what serves his own interests.

Several of these candidates are far, far worse.

Suspect she knows she will be out of cabinet very soon (and certainly not at the Home Office where she has been a total failure despite her vindictiveness)
 
Yeah, it has to be PM or bust for Patel. She has an appeal to the membership because she's satisfied their bloodlust but she has nothing with the wider public.

It's a red herring endorsement. He's close to Badenoch but almost certainly knows she can't win and that this run is about boosting her profile and getting her into the Cabinet - he's likely just keeping his powder dry and not playing favourites with the genuine contenders, as he's the only Tory at this point so indispensable that he's likely to be a very senior member of the government no matter who wins.
 
It really is a free for all, which is hopefully a great thing. The party clearly has no obvious candidate or alternative vision. What a hilarious mess.
