Bisexual Sunday

Precisely how respectable is bisexuality though when more often than not, it’s represented by an entire culture of suburban cis “Married”s on Grindr?

“Married”s who are more than happy for their wife’s to believe they are straight (year after year) when in actual fact they have at least one minor untreated STI (from playing around at literally ANY opportunity with ANY actual random who inexplicably finds sunglasses/ covid mask face pics acceptable)?

“Married”s who let the strength of their actual marriages rest upon wives NOT visiting their GP to investigate the source of that annoying and mysterious ‘itch’ that appeared out of nowhere and never quite seems to go away prior to getting a diagnosis and reluctantly coming to an inevitable conclusion based on conduct they have not personally indulged in?

Kindly fuck off.

I have no problem with the original post being edited or redacted but dragging up something from the past in an outstanding performance of whataboutery is the behaviour of a coward.

Is there any possibility we could not have a massive pile on right now? You know, just for a change.

Why not? Surely such opinions posted on a site with a majority LGBTQ community is insensitive and is going to get called out?

Of course it’s going to get called out and it has been. I don’t think we need to get into double figures of people calling it out because that just strikes me as unnecessary.

I disagree.

Piling on over a disagreement in music or politics or celebrities is one thing. But any -isms or -phobias should be stamped on multiple times to reaffirm how unacceptable they are. The fact that people still say openly biphobic things on the internet is proof that the emphasis is still required.

Just looking at @Rachey's IoW Pride Facebook pics and you can tell Mandy is pissed as she's smiling normally rather than pulling a face :D

I saw the pics (think it was of kayaking) and my first thought was that Mandy has a lovely smile and it shocked me because I couldn't understand why she always does that sort-of grimace, that's the first time I've seen her really smile! @Rachey you need to tell Mandy that her real smile is lovely so she doesn't need to get drunk to do it in future.

Amazing the lengths people will go to rather than just say ‘soz’ RIP in piece calico bbz xo

I do! I tell her all the time!! She just cannot smile for the camera and it drives me mad!

What are they expecting for Spain in this heatwave? :zombie: I’m off to Bilbao for work, am I going to die?

It had been eighteen days since my last poo-stick adventure in the back garden so there was a lot of "stuff" to clear up, thankfully all dried though due to the heat and lack of recent rain. Half the garden is in shade so it didn't feel too bad until I got to the sunshine half which I can only describe as excruciatingly hot. The dog's becoming increasingly frustrated because I won't let him lie outside but I'm worried he'll overheat very quickly with his double-coat which will then start blowing (chunks of it fall out) all over the carpet and I won't be able to hear the telly over his panting so I gave him a Jumbone instead and he's leaving me alone again.

I've had a really nice day - my friends took me out to Fife, we had fish and chips then a lovely long walk along the coast :disco: Just what I needed, though I'm completely wiped out now :D

Did you go to the chippy in Anstruther?

Yes, it's still very manageable here too. Perfect to spend the Sunday inside, working. :zombie:

I'm getting 36 and 33 now. At least I can (hopefully) get through tomorrow and then think that the worst of it is over for me.

I've just had to traumatise heathcliff by giving him a sedative, and I have to do the same tomorrow before his vet trip. This has just shown me what I already knew, that he's not a cat I want to medicate daily and I won't him through it. He's no terrified of me :(

Oh no :( Do you not think it's something he could get used to once it becomes part of his routine though?
