Kaleidoscope is a phenomenal record (and yes Mafia still gets the occasional spin every now and then) and it hurts to hear that poor Kelis isn’t making as much profit from it as she deserves.

I love how well spoken and sincere she is and how the fuck is she still looking so young?

I just finished watching the first video and she's adjusting her hair almost as many times as Nelly Furtado in the SNL performance of Promiscuous.

I think of her as a bit of a 21st century Grace Jones. A very slim catalogue of actual big hits, but her influence and popularity far transcends her chart stats.
