Tuesday won't take a job in Truss's cabinet

Bless them they are generally good kids, but at times they just want to play and not sit still. Last night I found myself telling them off a lot and then when I went to bed I felt bad for it nexus they really weren't that bad. But yes if I put an ipad out that would have kept them busy.

They bicker non stop, it's so exhausting at the moment! It's constant 'he did this' or 'she looked at me funny'. On the plus side the small age gap does mean they get on well/ play with each other well at times.
Parenting sounds exhausting :(

Does it get easier at a certain age?

Please can I show off my new monstera leaf. I'm so proud!

Hot take but the drinks are TOO STRONG here, I had 3 gin and tonics last night and I’m dying.
The Bears Bar Stiges is the only place I’ve had to give up on a drink because it was just a goldfish bowl of vodka with a tiny swirl of Coca Cola trying to stay alive inside. @HerSereneHighnessAnniFrid had already filled herself up during cocktail hour at Parrots and so was sick all night when we got back; was so annoying I could barely hear me YouTubes over the noise.

This is why I had 1. He just bickers with me instead.

Spanish gins are the fucking business. I WEPT when I came back to the UK and someone gave me 25ml of Gordons in a pint of tonic.

If it’s just nonsense bickering my top tip is to just start singing. It’ll either make them laugh and they’ll stop or it’ll annoy them and they’ll form an alliance against you, thus ending their own conflict. I’ve got through a verse and a chorus of Mary J Bilge’s No More Drama (my staple) and 99% of the time it’s worked.

Sauchiehall Street has just been sent into a meltdown by a jakey throwing up at the entrance to Poundland. WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSED TO SHOP NOW???

God I love mid-Wales. I’m staying at the very remote childhood home of a good friend. Driving into town we just drove past a sweet looking Miriam Margolyes type who waved to us from her deckchair.

Me: She seems nice :)
My friend, very matter of factly: She keeps dead cats in her freezer.

Best place for them, don't want them stinking up the place.

And now you're 79% more homosexual. You're welcome.

Today's bone of contention was him looking out of her window during the car journey rather than looking out of his own window. That said they then kept themselves entertained for 20 mins with an empty crisp packet.

Haha we were away with a load of mates and kids last week and some of the sibling rivalry was hilarious. Not on a life long basis though.
