Hello to you This is quite an early start for me, currently on a bus heading to my vaccination appointment.

I’ve been a good girl and going home at 12:30/1:00 most nights cause I’m old and tired but of course decided to stay out till 3:30 the night before I have to pack/checkout/fly

I’m not flying till 7pm but even so it seems like quite the TALL ORDER.

As for me, we sank two bottles of wine each on the balcony listening to Victorious Festival on the common opposite but I was in bed by 11, woke up at 7:30 fresh as a daisy.

Off on a lovely walk on Hayling Island and general outside loveliness today.

No one has dinner here until 10pm! And I learned early not to start drinking until after dark as on the first night 3 Spanish G&G’s had me WASTED by 11pm. I actually ordered 2 slices of pizza at 5:30 yesterday as I couldn’t wait for the restaurants to open at 8, and the guy at the counter asked me WHY I was eating at that hour.

‘Enjoying’ the big Osaka fireworks display from my window, just the other side of the castle, so it’s a nice backdrop. Although all the smoke seems to be drifting this way so it’s getting steadily less spectacular.
