Good morning to you. I have today off work because a surveyor is coming to my flat, this is apparently related to the person buying the place and their mortgage valuation. My own mortgage got approved yesterday, and now I need to set a moving date which is quite exciting! Things were a bit stagnant for a couple of weeks there, but if all goes well I could be moved (if not quite SETTLED) this time next month

I didn't know what Bon Appetit was until all that, but I did find it quite funny that they were exposed by the podcast Reply All, and then loads of people who worked for that podcast (and their wider network) immediately came out and said that all the same things were going on there too

I think I liked the atmosphere, and I probably was aware that they were all fake

- the New York backdrop window looked RICH
- Claire’s crabby unimpressed demeanour
- the lolz characters cameoing, obviously really fake and probably evil, or at least HARD WORK
- except Gabby the latinx lady who seems lovely
- when the bosses wander around for a visit and are definitely super evil when the cameras aren’t there

Had to have dearest Ridley put to sleep yesterday. The house is so quiet without him, I keep hearing random noises from the kitchen and realising that he isn't going to come sauntering in to annoy me.

I'm sorry @Floppet. Thats terrible You gave him a great life and put a lot more effort into keeping him comfortable at the end than most people would. He was lucky to have you as his owner
