I’d be putting out press releases every 5 minutes taking about how the poofs are ruining Eurovision because they complain about everything

New music flows through Leeds with young talent engaged in courses across four universities. Students come from across Europe, including Italian rapper Blackson and Czech-Norwegian electropop Eurovision finalists, We Are Domi, who formed while studying at the Leeds Conservatoire.

Other acts from the city include Goth rockers The Sisters of Mercy, Spice Girl Mel B and The Kaiser Chiefs, and let’s not forget that Live at Leeds by The Who is possibly the most famous live album in the world.

Which ones do you dispute? I hope you’re not saying Greater Manchester boroughs other than weirdly-shaped Manchester don’t count.
 
Well I don’t see Rochdale and Bolton as being Manchester in the same way as I don’t see St Helens and Southport as being Liverpool, but I guess it depends on who you’re speaking to!

I think the ones to worry about there are Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Montenegro. Armenia I suppose may be dependant on how the next few months pan out..

There doesn’t seem to be anyone looking likely to return/debut does there? Praying for Bosnia ofc :disco:

Slovakia have had a change of management, so there’s a sliver of hope there, but still unlikely.
 
North Macedonia were looking a bit peaky around the aftermath of Turin/the flag 'scandal' (:eyes:) weren't they? Or have they chilled the fuck out and got over themselves a bit?

“In June 2022, MRT's editor of artistic and cultural programming and head of the Macedonian delegation, Meri Popova, proposed a series of recommendations to improve the country's future results in the contest, and MRT's programming council unanimously agreed to the proposals.[126] However, an official confirmation of participation in 2023 is still pending.”

The most useful recommendation would be to replace her with someone new but I doubt she proposed it.
