Will this be the first time a party has not received a bump from their conference? They’re so toxic right now that nothing can help them; they’d be better going into a dark cave for 3 months and hoping for the best
 
Also it’s particularly interesting that Lib Dem etc haven’t really benefited from the Tory slide, it’s ALL Labour, suggesting that people are so disgusted by this current regime that they’re going straight to the place that will push the Tories out. It’s not a protest vote, they just want them GONE

To be fair, that's the Tweeter and not him. He's stepped down pending an investigation, which isn't the same thing at all.

Well also helps that Labour just had their conference and the Lib Dems was cancelled because of the queen.
Come election the seats where Lib Dems are a clear second Labour will under perform for sure

The absolute fucking HELL of putting GDPR into operation into an industry like mine when people just don't understand how it works was fucking PAINFUL and now they just want to chuck it out...FUCK ME!

(Unrelated but see also Brexit and immigration rules and the refusal to give interpreters an exemption from that salary threshold you needed to meet in the country which meant interpreters working for the police/ government/ courts at the ridiculously shit rates they offer would have had to work something stupid like 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, 48 weeks a year to qualify, when most interpreters jobs are 1-2 hours a day at most, so now the whole industry is drastically understaffed, court cases are postponed/ collapse cause of the lack of interpreters and it's costing a fuckload more than the "burden" any such people would put on our economy. BUT WE'VE TAKEN BACK OUR BORDERS!

The GDPR thing is ridiculous. Following Brexit we spent several years waiting on the EU granting an adequacy decision agreeing that UK data protection law was in line with theirs (the UK finally received a decision in June 2021). That allowed our organisations and businesses to continue to work with those based in the EU as before. Scraping GDPR puts that at risk and fucks everyone over.

Not to mention our personal data rights will be watered down with whatever rubbish they replace GDPR with.
 
Where’s the GDPR thing come from? Are businesses (Tory donors) not making enough from our data as it is?

The GDPR proposal is change for the sake of change. It actually works well. Do they not contemplate how in their supposed cutting of red tape, they actually make more work for business?
