Taylor Swift - Midnights (new album out Oct. 21)

Swifties were thinking she was avoiding a single release until now because the Grammy’s eligibility cut off for 2023 was sept 30, which would’ve split the project into two award cycles. o_O O_o o.O O.o

If that theory is correct we could see something come out this Friday.

To be fair, this is a very unexciting rollout. If she isn’t going to release a proper lead single I would have just preferred a folklore/evermore style surprise drop.

Halcyon Decades is very much a chart THREAT. and just a threat in general. :disco:

OK girls I'm getting in a Taylor mood with some SELECTED FAVES from reputation (weirdly my favourite album to dip into / cherry pick from when I'm not in a big Taylor mood)

in the middle of the NIGHT

I used to think that lyric was "butcher to this tailor" and they were cosplaying in different professions, but of course the actual lyric makes much more sense...

I gave 'folklore' a through listen at the weekend. Still just a delightful album. 'epiphany' particularly struck me - has anyone else written a song about the strain of being a junior doctor and somehow struck a universal note in the doing so?

the moopy girls need to get their ears checked before the 21st because i will not be tolerating any Vigilante Shit slander.
