Morning.

Definite Thursday vibes in here...bit chilly, bit empty, bit grey.
 
I've had rotten cold for the past two days and nights now. Home Office it is, coughing my GUTS up.
 
I've still not fully recovered from my cold.

Is this getting old or am I just decaying?

Anyway off today, which is nice. I've figured working 2-3 days a week provides plenty of income and doesn't destroy me. What a luxury!
 
Good morning! It's wet and miserable but I'm actually looking forward to today at work, I have a feeling I'm going to CLEAR a lot of stuff.

I've been up since 5am with a very poorly heathcliff. Vomitting and diarrhoea, one lot all over Mandy's clothes 😬
 
Reluctantly tried to pick up on my Ayumi Hamasaki back catalogue catch-up after a few dreary albums - but the start of “Party Queen” is rather :disco: so far - NaNaNa is serving some really dreadfully 90s Real McCoy spoken word

Off to Isle of Wight for the weekend tomorrow.

Heathcliff has been hospitalised again for several days 😭

Bad case of pancreatitis, which need to get under control, then start sorting the diabetes and putting him on Insulin.

He also has a heart murmur.

Leaving him behind was the worst thing!

I must go to the Isle Of Wight at some point. I want to see the Needles too and Osborne House. And Raquel's House Of Fudge.

I do four but would ideally do three.

The downgrade in income from going from five to four was nothing compared to the improvement in my life in pretty much every other aspect.

If you can afford it or make it work, I'd recommend it to anyone.

I have had a sore back for the past few weeks too, I went to a physio the other day and I have hurt my sacroiliac joint it seems. Fuck knows how.

My shop is in Cowes!! I'm working tomorrow then off for the weekend but you should definitely visit! All the moopers are visiting at the moment 🤣

The needles is unbelievably tacky, but it is a must see. Please go on the chair lift. It may look like you're going to die, but you probably won't.

You don't have to explain, I know exactly how you feel and it's an awful feeling. When Ridley had to stay in the vets for his hip operation I brought him home and he ignored me for about three days but was all over Mr F like a rash. We believed it was because I took him in on my own that morning and he was blaming me for the cone of shame that he had to wear.

:( Oh poor Ridley! And poor you. It's so annoying that they can't understand us. Last time heathcliff was hospitalised I thought he'd hate me when he got home, but he was glued to my side all night.
I'm just hoping he tolerates his insulin injections because if he doesn't, we're in trouble.

Also excuse how rough I look. No sleep for 48 hours at my age is not a good look.
