The joy of Malignant apart from the twist was how resolutely B-movie it was and fucking BONKERS.

Yeah this was good fun, but there was definitely a sense that it could have been a bit better. I wanted more scenes of M3gan basically being Gigi Goode from Snatch Game.

This was good fun, very funny in places and tense in others. It's taken over $100 million at the box office on a budget of $12 million, and a sequel is coming in 2025.

I really loved this, it reminded me of those amazing domestic thrillers from the 90s, it was kind of The Hand that Rocks the Cradle by way of RoboCop, but as a black comedy. Toy Soldier on the piano was such an inspired choice.
