I'm off on holiday! Just waiting for the ferry and on our way to Wales for a week.

Obviously I'm convinced heathcliff is going to get sick / die / be a nightmare for my mum to inject.

I've never been to Builth. Think I may have driven through it though. Still, it's on the River Wye so even if it isn't lovely, you'll be very close to loveliness.

The accommodation we're in looks to have beautiful views so I'm assuming it's not a bad area. Just a shame the weather looks so awful :(

You really are in the middle of nowhere as well :D

Looks like you may get a few dry days at the end of the week. Better plan a trip to the bright lights of Abergavenny or Merthyr Tydfil for those drizzly days!

We've never actually been to Abergavenny. I might give it a go.

We have a hot tub and views so I should be ok with a day in if the weather's too bad.
 
Abergavenny is quite nice on market day. Or at least was about 15 years ago. And Hereford would be an easy trip as well.

You know Merthyr was a joke though, right? :shy:

It very definitely was. Typical small town dependant on industry (particularly mining) which had its soul ripped out when the industry closed down.

Feeling dead after working 12 hours both days over the weekend, so there was no way I was making it to my 9am lecture :)

Oh well, only have a dissertation to hand in on Friday so nothing too stressful :)

I did 90 minutes of work and now I'm watching shit daytime TV. My comedown has abated but I'm just fucking KNACKERED. And I'm out again tomorrow. :|

Anyway, morning. Just up. Have a couple to days off so I took the piss with the sleeping a bit today. Now listening to that new Ride compilation and feeling only slightly 😳 that the contents are 32 years old.
 
Had a nice afternoon in Nara (with the deer) with a friend (it’s complicated). But I didn’t keep hydrated so I’ve got a headache, which with hindsight was not the ideal condition for my first Fossora listen :bruised:
 
Oh, NOW a second-hand furniture place opens close to my flat. I could have done with you 2 months ago, guys!
