Wait, I thought you were into that?
GOT ME WRONG THEN

To prevent causing upset to fans of maps (which does of course include MOI, although I quite enjoy thread topics being derailed by entirely unrelated blather), can a kindly someone create a pointless Pizza vs Pasta argument thread in the appropriate chatbooth and move the relevant posts over?

I make both pizza and pasta, and love it, also it's fast and easy to make, but I need a bit of variety so I don't eat them that often.

Of course one hot topic sure to be divisive and cause in-lounge stabbings is HAM AND PINEAPPLE PIZZA. I invariably think it’s going to turn up elegantly draped with thinly sliced top notch ham and of course it doesn’t. NASTY HARD PINK MATCHSTICKS MORE LIKE

Which is why I always get Pepperoni Plus, American Hot or some tuna-based thing instead :disco:

Many years ago during a LOW MOOD I decided to treat myself to a lovely stuffed crust pizza from exclusive fine food purveyor ICELAND, only to accidentally purchase the HOT DOG STUFFED CRUST. I grimly remember trying to FORCE IT DOWN before reluctantly admitting it was INEDIBLE, even the rest of the pizza had absorbed a vile hot doggy WAFT, and vague taste of PLASTIC.

Well if you thought pineapple on pizza was bad you should see what some Swedes love to have on their pizza:

curry and banana 🍌

I would say that I prefer a cream-based sauce with pasta when eating out. Any old dog can make a tomato-based one (e.g. puttanesca) at home whereas I’d never bother to make one with SALMON, so that tends to be my SINE QUA NON AL RISTORANTE :disco:

QUITE RUDE REALLY and :D at “accidentally”

I quite like them. I mean they’re filth and a bit of an embarrassment to buy but there’s always the self-service checkout :disco:

I have noticed that some of the supermarkets such as LIDL seem to be using milk or some other thing rather than cheese on their toppings of late, resulting in the product being a bit wet and displeasing :(

Although NEITHER have been available for the last two BIG SHOPS. Just when they've finally got PESTO back!

Scottish loungers (or indeed anyone else) to confirm whether they’ve ever partaken of the following, please (with comments / reviews)

PIZZA CRUNCH SUPPER
MACARONI PIE
ANYTHING ELSE ALONG SIMILAR LINES - PLEASE SPECIFY

I also ate an abnormal amount of boiled eggs and fishpaste, when in Sweden.

I just applied straight onto individual chunks of egg, rather than squeeze it on all of them. Delicious.
