Good morning.

Bad sleep but position significantly improved by listening to the most recent Richard Herring podcast with Bob Mortimer. Priceless stuff.

Absolutely cunting it down with rain here, so much so that I don't think I can be bothered to walk the 10 minutes to my office and might just sit here procrastinating all day instead...
 
Working from home today and planned a huge walk with the dog. Sadly, it's absolutely bastarding it down and doesn't look like it's due to ease up until late afternoon, when it'll be too dark to walk anywhere interesting :(
 
6 hours of online workshop, my back is fuuuucked. At least the last lesson (just one immediately after) was a no-show.

The cow didn’t cancel though so I had to sit there for 40 minutes

I forget the Richard Herring podcast from time to time and then binge it. I'll be due another one soon.

I finished Bob Mortimer's novel last week. Jolly good fun.

Yes, pissing down. Was thinking of going to Cheltenham today, but I don't really want to be drenched before I get on the train.
 
Good Morning. The heavens have opened here too, and me and my daughter are off to Glasgow shopping, for lunch and going to see Anastacia this evening. Last years Christmas present from Shannon.

I was going to go COTTAGING near Cheltenham today, on some STRANGE RUSE to buy a few jars of the best pickled onions ever from a local shop and have a mooch about generally.

But this weather has put me off.
 
I've done the morning school run, now it's gymnastics at 10am, dentist at midday, another school run and then swimming lessons at 4:30. Need to make dinner for today and tomorrow in-between that all.
 
I've just been reading some crap on Facebook a out Nick Cannon and his children. Can't get my head around it.

Actually take the first two children and the marriage to Mariah out because that does seem to be entirely separate. But the others all seem to have happened simultaneously.

What do our resident lambs make of it all?
 
My mum's plane has just taken off :o She's flying to Manchester, then getting a train up here tonight that'll get her into Glasgow around midnight. Might have a nap when I go home tonight before I go into town to meet her, I'm already dreading staying up that long :shock:

I tell you something for free. This weather is doing nothing for my selfless decision to stay here for my family. Might just fuck off and see if they follow.
 
Yeah it's disgusting here today, being down in the basement we can usually avoid it but we had to take a load of cardboard out to the bins earlier and I nearly drowned :(
 
I think I have an ingrown nail because my toe is swollen and I can’t walk properly. Fun times.
 
What a shitty day for everyone it seems :(

I've had an odd feeling all day in the pit of my stomach. Like I'm worried about something, or dreading something, or sad, but I don't know what or why. I can't shake it tho.

So I'm drinking fake Malibu and coke in the stock room of the shop, listening to Backstreet boys and waiting for a lift home.
 
:D I'm only on the fake stuff because we used it for a couple of batches of fudge and now we're stuck with it. It's actually quite pleasant.
 
I cheered up this afternoon and its because the rain stopped. I really don't belong here :D
 
Well the doctor removed a sizable chunk of my toe nail and gave me antibiotics.

Also it’s our first day of proper snow so now I have to navigate going home without slipping.
