All you have to do is rank the songs from 1-31, (excluding your own, of course), with #1 being your favourite and #31 being your least favourite, and send to me by PM by the deadline of Saturday 19th November at 11.59pm.

The results will be revealed in a LIVE gala on Sunday 20th November at 8PM.

I am all over this format although fuck knows how I'm going to rank the middle ground (so 4-28) in three days. I will do some initial jiggling with possible last minute drunken changes on Saturday

Yes, and I'm very sorry. I'd have never entered if I knew i had to rank them all, it stresses me. A lot. I've already talked about it, i don't know how to rank a long list of songs accurately. I could do it now, and then again tomorrow, and it would be completely different. So i'm not going to do it randomly because it makes no sense. I don't understand the need to complicate so much a speed round, but i guess it's Kalavision and it has to come with something very loco, fair enough. Sorry :(
 
Although I do wish I had known the scoring system beforehand as I'd have jotted it all down to have a first draft done as it happened, I'm game for the promised chaotic catfights of the results show (even though Kala is famously anti-drama).

Aren’t you ranking half of them already to give your points? Like 14/32 of the songs?

Just rank the tops and then rank the leftovers! It’ll just be like 2 ASFMs where one of them is good and one of them is shit. Or like Diddyvision and Tischvision

Could you not just rate them all out of 100 and then put them in order? If you have any ties just decide between them which you prefer.

Or if you want I am happy to vote for you xxx

Yes I like to move every song into either KEEP or BIN and do a vague ranking of the KEEP pile - then listen to KEEP again to find the high point for top scoring and work backwards from there. And then try and work out which song I wish I’d sent and consider giving it a vindictive zero :disco:

I like this ranking process for this round, since my BIN pile is quite large and it’ll be quite fun working out my reasons for what my “worst” song is but it might just be “are you seriously sending unknown cult classic Kandy Pop and thinking you can get away with this, Kathy” :)
 
Yeah I know it sounds very silly. I'm sure I've talked about it before... hmmm like here. I struggle a lot ranking songs :shy: there are some I like, some I don't, but I'm indifferent to many of them and I feel like I make it up because I don't know how to rank them. When we do those Eurovision votings out of 10 I end up with loads of songs with 5 or 6 and I just don't know what to give them. I already struggle enough with ASFM voting because we have to vote for too many songs, but ranking them all? As soo as I saw it I knew I was fucked. Yes, instead of this absurd drama I can always shut up and totally make the voting up, but that and cheating is the same, and I just can't. I feel very stupid and I don't wanna talk about it anymore, thanks everyone for your concerns.

I could easily ask everyone to just rank the songs in their order of preference, and reveal the full ranking in the results. So we all know who placed who last...
