Eventually caught up with the Sam episode of A Journey Through SAW on my walk this afternoon. A Dana International duet in January, followed by an Ian Masterson-produced album...

I got a bit lost when she started babbling about a book and Netflix(!)
 
I thought she came across very well. I expected her to be a lot more DIVA-esque but she seems remarkably down to earth and in a good headspace about her career.
 
I mean it’s no “Susie, Don’t Leave Me With Your Boyfriend” but it’s still a 10/10
 
Weirdly I was also on a bit of a SMAMFA FOX kick today, and I stumbled upon this interview from the early 90s, wherein she speaks with surprising eloquence and maturity about her career thus far, only to undercut it when they do the obligatory cut away to her absolutely godawful new single. :D

She was not only a singer but also a VERY popular pinup as well. Every FIERCELY HETEROSEXUAL BOY had her on his bedroom walls. I had this poster :D
