We've finally put our electric blanket on the bed this morning. I can't wait to get into bed. I'm currently sat on the sofa, hungover, with a dressing gown, hot water bottle and heater next to me.

I was out with my old work friends from the vets, on their Christmas party!

Ah love a girls night out!

We're out Wednesday afternoon and evening for the shop, closing early, going for drinks and then dinner in a nice restaurant. There's only 3 of us so it shouldn't cost too much!

I’ll take Vera out for lunch nearer to Christmas, but other than that I don’t have anyone working for me anymore.

It was freezing here last night. I forgot to put the heaviest quilt on when I made the bed in the week though

And I've just changed the heating so we're getting it on for about double what it was programmed for.

No the owner of the company wanted to do a lunch!

I have never worked in an office. Is it actually a party with music in the work place? Do you not have computers and the like all over the place? Does the place and equipment not usually get WRECKED like most of the staff?

I’ve never had an actual party in an office before! But we’ve just moved into a fancy new one and the boss wanted to do a party there to celebrate. It will mostly be confined to the kitchen/dining area rather than the desks!

Oh god horrible flashbacks just came flooding back to when I had a Christmas party at a bar I worked at. My manager walked in on me wanking off a waiter in the bogs, and I had no recollection of it until she reminded me the next day.

I've never had an office party actually in the office, no.

I look dreadful in one of them, like I've been crying. My eyebrows are drawn on at the moment until my next appt.
