Gorgeous! Be careful with the ice on the road :kim:
It'll be black ice later :(

I'll get my snow grips out, I'm only walking to and from my mother's today. Mr L is actually out on his bike and I'm more worried about him, but he's already messaged me to say that out on the main roads the gritters have been out, they just didn't come into our estate.

I think it must be quite localised here. Looking friends' posts, some only a few miles away haven't had any.

My walk through the small wood behind my house was pretty.

It looks like it will be back up to 13 and rain down your neck of the woods in time for a Christmas. :(

Right, I've put on "NOW That's What I Call Christmas", skipped track 1 because I'm still in Whamageddon for this year and I'm not moving until I've written these cards.

We've had the Perry Como Christmas album on. Very specifically this one which my nan had on vinyl.

It isn't on Spotify, but some kind soul has done a playlist of the tracks which are all available on a myriad of other releases.

I’ve not started my cards either and don’t even know if I send them now if they will get to various places around true World. I really should have sent them earlier?

I've just come home after spending the afternoon at my mum's where we talked about how much we enjoy going to London for a few days, and she was saying how much she knows about the royal family from years ago, including how interesting Henry 8th's life was. Which makes me pleased with my decision to take her to London for 2 nights to see Six at the theatre for her 70th birthday!

We lived up a fucking snowy mountain where it snowed all the time and it was constantly colder than this. STOP SAYING THINGS

Quality. This is what we need back. How long would it take the average band/artist to go in and run through the classics? 2 or 3 days?

A cold has decided to descend on me this afternoon. Makes a change for me to have it start as I'm about to start the week rather than at the end of it.

Think I'm going to have a eucalyptus bath in the dark, listening to Ella Fitzgerald's Christmas album, and finishing off a bottle of Aldi Sauternes.
