Good morning! It's my last day of work this year and I have properly given up caring about it :disco: It helps that the only job I have today is a bit of high volume production where I just have to babysit a machine, nice mindless work without any brainpower required 💃

Mandy and I had a meeting yesterday with the Operations Manager of Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill, for those that don't know the island, they're the 2 biggest tourist attractions here.

The contacted us and want to stock our fudge in both their parks next year 😍
 
Unpopular opinion but I'm really enjoying this cold snap. Everything looks pretty, there's lots of sun and its a million times better than cold, wet and grey.
 
There was a new very pretty frost over night.

Also, I've ordered a Subway. Might eat it in bed.
 
I just went downstairs and now I have uncontrollable chills.

I've really had the full platter of colds and infections this year.

I had this discussion yesterday with people. I absolutely hate the cold, but everything is so pretty, and it's sunny! And actually our flat is south facing so when it's like this we get the sun all day and it warms up.

I hate the rain and wind.
 
Oh yeah this lurgy going round is WILD. I'm rarely ill, but I was run down for a couple of weeks and still have crap on my chest.

I ate mince pies daily as part of my health plan.
 
I didn't even finish my food from Fagner.

Don't take away my appetite at CHRISTMAS you bastard.
 
I'm also nice and freshish after Christmas party number 2 last night. Only one more to go on Sunday (and then actual Christmas). :disco:

I declined one at Mr Ag's work last night.

I was meant to go out on the lash with my best mate and her sister tomorrow (it would have been an absolute event), but that is at the very least delayed.

I'm so so gutted to be ill at this juncture.
 
I delayed my bus yesterday. There were some young teens throwing things so I told them to grow up and stop so they started shouting fag and throwing more stuff. Then I said to the bus driver and he moved them downstairs and then they started shouting more stuff so he kicked them off.

It's about the third time it's happened this month (the homophobic shouting on buses). I don't know if it's that I'm only noticing now I'm using public transport to a greater extent because my car isn't working, or if it's on the rise. I got buses for years and never heard it this frequently.

I never go on the top deck on a school route.
 
Several of the kids say they remind me of a character from that School Nativity film. I've never seen it, but I presume he's a mincing queen.
 
I was told yesterday by a pupil that my classes are such 'a vibe', and that I'm the coolest teacher in the school, even after I discipline them. The staff compliment my classes as well, saying they love having me in as the kids are always best behaved with me, because the kids respect me! I've been offered two jobs there, which I've declined. After a term, I've concluded that supply teaching is literally my perfect job.

Only took me 26 years of my working life to get here.
 
We have had a fair few inches of snow here and I am heading out for Christmas drinks later. What the hell do I put on my FEET? I have a gorgeous pair of platform sandals that go perfect with my outfit but SNOW. 😭
