The Traitors - Episode 10

I really wish the traitors could sign the murder notice with their names, so we could get everyones reaction to finding out who the traitors are. Seems like a bit of a wasted opportunity if we are not getting a reunion or grand unveiling at the end in front of everyone?

I think my heart rate is just about returning to normal.

If Kieran accepts the invite, and then Wilf gets banished (because why on earth wouldn't Kieran direct attention immediately on him), I'm seriously not going to be able to cope.

I would love this but surely Kieran has to be super subtle about it or he'll just get voted out the next episode if they get Wilf in the next banishment. Then the winners can be any 3 of Meryl/Aaron/Maddy/Andrea and I would NOT BE UNHAPPY AT ALL. :o
 
Kieran is just the only one left I really don't want to win.

I guess he just has to believe he's got a better chance of sharing the prize pot with Wilf than getting it all for himself.

The final three then got to choose whether they banished again, or if they all thought they were all faithful.

Picture it - final three is Hannah, Maddy and Wilf. Maddy wants rid of Wilf, Hannah says no because she’s convinced he’s faithful. Wilf wins and takes everything. :D

I couldn't stand her until quite recently and tonight's episode when she opened with the 1000% certainty then 'I'll be good at this challenge' was a great comedy double.
 
Separately - Wilf should have converted Aaron. If he's playing the 4D chess of "they won't have had three women as Traitors!" to stop him getting suspected next, then Aaron is the only other one who's been there from the start. They'll know that Kieran could only be a Traitor through being added to the original starting line-up, so suspicion would still be on Wilf/Aaron anyway if any of the remaining Faithful were thinking on those lines. Wilf would be more likely to lose any suspicion in that regard if Aaron went as a Traitor.

This was so upsetting. I agree with whoever said it feels like the heart has gone from the show. But she fucked up and they're still looking for any reason to banish someone and she made the worst error of anyone so far :( Of course it makes me hate Wilf SO MUCH but I'm aware that's just falling into the trap the actual players are. It's not about who is most likeable, it's not Big Brother. Still fucking stings though to lose someone that strong and it helps to root for a player you WANT to win...

Also not sure how I feel about the meddling at the end. Was the blackmail recruitment thing always planned at this stage or can they just throw it in randomly? Maybe they thought Wilf's path to the final was too obvious and I'm glad to have something to potentially fuck it up, but given everyone is still clueless it seems a bit unfair and unnecessary to mess with the dynamics this close to the end.

My guess is they had it in their back pocket as a way of making sure we were guaranteed to have at least one traitor left in the final.

I'm assuming there's an offer of some money if he gets murdered? Otherwise it's utterly pointless to say no. I don't like Wilf even though he's done so well, but I hate how the decision to recruit or not is taken out of his hands here.
 
Also as much as I love the murders, I do think they stifle people playing the game somewhat. If you had a smaller group of players, about 12, with it just being about banishment, I feel we'd have people actively trying to work it out more openly which would've been interesting with less of a risk to players actually doing what they're supposed to. I know they ARE to a point, but the murders have got a bit of a stranglehold on things.

I'm not sure I'd want to change the madness of it all though...
 
Maybe the traitors could be working to secretly sabotage the tasks, and they only get a chance to murder that evening if they do it successfully? The tasks and prize pot would have to work differently in that case though, so maybe not :tongueout:

Aaron is circling the drain anyway, if they work on getting him banished next, Maddy's theory is blown apart and no one will believe her about Wilf, allowing them to murder any of Andrea/Meryl/Hannah in between, before Maddy gets banished next

Not sure how he'd get rid of Kieran, though - I haven't seen anyone suspect him yet, either. Is there a reason they didn't think Kieran could be a traitor after Amos was revealed as a faithful? Obviously it would have been incorrect (until now) but it's as logical a guess as anything they've come up with
 
With Amanda DEAD, and not wanting to root for Wilf, I think the only other person left who deserves to win is Hannah - she's the only one who has dared to come up with ideas but still maintain bonds in there that have kept her safe(ish). Not sure she'll make it though :(

Andrea would be a preference for being so unbothered by it all though :D

Oh wait I forgot Maddy...yes those three being the final 3 would be ideal now (sorry Meryl)
 
Talking of Maddy, I'm amazed no one has thought her faithful by the sheer fact she has beaten the SAME old drum from the start. Not only has it made her stand out (no Traitor wants that) but there isn't a chance in hell a traitor wouldn't keep changing votes to fit with the flow of what's happening. They must see that now with Amanda so I REALLY hope someone brings it up. It feels like her only hope unless we get a shock Wilf banishment
