Picked up overtime at work :( But Bank Holiday pay :disco:
 
Completed "Debut Albums Day" with Gomez and The Selecter last night and now we're back to The Fall.

Old Firm game up my end of town so lying low today. The punters can get a bit out of hand.
 
I have this whole week off with no plans until Sunday. I could die happy now. :disco:
 
The air fryer that I want is finally back in stock but I'm not convinced that I actually need it. My unnecessary-appliance cupboard already contains a breadmaker, sandwich toaster, slow-cooker, deep fat fryer, sonic jewellery cleaner and a couple of cafetieres and there's also a blender that should be in there but there's no room for it. I already have a George Foreman grill and griddle that I use quite often and I'd have to keep that because I'm not sure you can make a fried egg or prawn skewers in an air fryer.
 
I've been at work since 7am - but this also means I'll get out and leave come 4pm.

Plus I'm getting a tan in the office :disco:
 
We've had an air fryer for years because my Mum got one as a christmas present, used it once and then couldn't be bothered.

We only use it for healthy chips, really, but they're really quite good in there.
 
We use ours for pretty much everything apart from pizza. But anything you'd usually put in an oven, we put in the air fryer.

I assume they're much cheaper on electricity 🤔

Managed to drop my phone and smash my screen. Ugh. It’s the first time I’ve ever smashed a phone screen. Thank heavens for mobile phone insurance. Claim made and accepted less than half an hour after it happened, and phone being sent for repair tomorrow. Just as well I have an old iPhone I kept which I can use as a backup.
 
I really do applaud whoever successfully created the hype for air fryers.

That said, when our old microwave died a couple of years ago, we replaced it with a combination microwave/convection oven, and since then I've only used the regular oven on about 5 or 6 occasions. It definitely helped bring our fuel costs down well before the current crisis, so I totally understand if people are just using them as mini ovens.
 
Air fryers are very popular with the Slimming World brigade. I feel like they've upped the hype.
 
I bought the air fryer, it's being delivered on Thursday. It's like the credit in my AO finance account was burning a hole in my pocket. :shy:

Mr F has promised to eat chips from it.
 
We're watching the NYE Miley Cyrus special. Mandys a bit in love.
