Barely Functioning Friday

Surprised at how many people are starting back on a Friday (me included)

Today is a bit nothing so far, I’m in a weird funk. Also tomorrow is looking like a prime slice of shit.

And free for registration. Not the worst selection of classes/ kids for a first day back.
 
It's GROSS out there. Even the fact that it is payday is not cheering me because it;s still post-Xmas recovery month, innit?
 
I am well excited to do absolutely fuck all this weekend for a change!
 
I'm still in bed. This is becoming a regular thing.
 
I am SO BLOODY TIRED. 2 weeks of eating shit and drinking really takes it out of you. WHO KNEW?

And me. I've got up, had a coffee, decided I couldn't be bothered cleaning the kitchen floor yet and come back to bed. All three cats with me.

It seems very mild today. Heating went off a couple of hours ago and I'm not even slightly cold. Perhaps I ought to go out for a walk as it's meant to be pissing down tomorrow.

Yep I got up, sorted the pets, had a nap, got Mandy up to make coffee, back in bed. Now we're just deciding what to do today. I'm thinking coffee in a flask and a nice view somewhere.

Still in hospital. I visited her yesterday which was really weird. She's 70, but really young for her age. Seeing her in hospital looking so frail was really hard.

Apparently her appendix had burst so she's got to stay in on intravenous antibiotics for another day.

She somehow knocked a tooth out between collapsing at home and having her operation.
 
Home. Could have been worse for a first day back. About to start prepping a beetroot salad, and a beetroot soup at the same time.

I'm not sure how I feel about beetroot soup. I feel like it should be eaten cold, but that also grosses me out.

Initially a bet meh, but I added some dashes of tabasco, worcester sauce, salt and pepper and it was delicious. I might add half a stock cube to thicken it up.
 
At school little Kylie has these house point things. If they get to 30, they get to choose a prize out the prize box. He's been working so hard to get to 30 points and he was so happy this week when he finally got there.

Today he comes out of school with his prize in his hand so proudly, and then gives it to little Dannii and says 'I looked and looked in the box to get something for you and I chose you this'

I spent all week feeling ill and saying I was just going to have a relaxing weekend, I’m now drinking wine and thinking about getting fucked up
