But Miles Away was huge in Japan!!!!1

Also You'll See was kept off to maintain Something To Remember sales.

The true CRIME was that TPOG was left off.
 
I'd like her to steal Mylene Farmer's classic concert opening of being winched down from the ceiling in a DISCO COFFIN and carried around the crowd before launching into Hung Up, closely followed by Dress You Up, thank you very much :disco:
 
Actually, if we're going full out fantasy, fuck it- let's have her doing a residency at the O2 like Prince and then going to do after show renditions of an album a night at the Indigo after :D

1/17 announcement MAY be delayed, but it is still (for now) expected to be announced in January. If delayed, not by much.

1/27 is (for now) when tickets are expected to go on sale.

Delay is just regarding timing strategies with other big tours.

Hits-oriented and ... '80s-oriented in particular.

Stadiums outside the U.S., arenas like MSG inside the U.S.

The name "Celebration Tour" was batted around and may now be cast aside.

I don't trust for a MINUTE that she'd leave all of the classics to be performed as God intended

I do find it sad that somebody with Madonna's calibre of legacy is now seen by many people as no more than some old nan getting up at the karaoke.

It's horrible that ageism is the one prejudice that is still socially acceptable.
 
Lesser artists get an immediate official announcement and so far, for Madge, all we have is just bits and bobs from Fan forums and Twitter stan accounts?

I'm not convinced Madonna actually has a team. everything is always extremely slapdash and feels hastily thrown together with her—strangely, for a self-described/former perfectionist. I have a feeling poor Mercy James is stuck on photoshop duties and David Banda does her socials and that's IT!
