I'm not in love with the song just listening to it yet, but the video is a total pleasure, her best since Nothing Breaks Like a Heart, and it makes the song come alive too. I'm sure it's a massive grower. feels like quite a big moment for our Mildred :disco:

The bit towards the end where she's really going for it dancing around her very glamorous looking abode is PURE JOY.

the fact that Bangerz was her last album to manage 3 proper singles (and even then the third was massively delayed and derailed the campaign totally) is insane.

I appreciate "Wrecking Ball" for really making her a pop icon, but it's just ALRIGHT for me. "Midnight Sky" has grown a lot on me these past few days. Still need to warm to that album. The second bit of the chorus "see my LIPS on her MOUTH... everybody's talking now" is really great.

so in typical SMILEY, fashion if this goes according to how past campaigns have been managed, then in the following months we can expect a second single, a re-release by fall with a mash up consisting of Flowers and I Will Survive including some Gloria vocals; kinda like Edge Of Midnight, along with some of her fave live covers like Stars Are Blind (feat. SIA and Paris Hilton) as bonus tracks?
