We've got CARROT gate going on in the class chat. The kids get fruit and milk in the afternoon, today they were running late so came out with their fruit in their hands. These are some of the pictures. The parents are up in arms :o

We had a work discussion about it and I was going to take our American office lady with me, leave my car at a client's and we'd walk into the town centre and call it a work trip. I rang the client whose garage is in town and told him I was coming to pick his VAT paperwork up and he told me not to bother because the roads were gridlocked and nobody could get in or out of town.

Probably best that we didn't go, she'd have been screaming with excitement and I'd have been shouting "should've called yourself King Arthur!" and making plans how I could get back to the car without her.

It's was the Town Hall's 150th birthday. I was gutted that neither of them climbed up and sat on the lions as is the tradition when one visits the Town Hall. Imagine going to Bolton and not sitting on the lions, what's the point?

OT: has anyone ever had to deal with a cancellation request on eBay?

I’ve literally sold a job lot of Dallas DVDs for £50 and almost as soon as the auction ended, the guy has asked for me to cancel the order. I can approve or decline it, but I can’t work out if that means he can negatively give me feedback.

I’m fucking furious- it’s been on a ten day auction and I’m trying to clear all the shit out of the spare room of which this is another pile sat in the corner and which I thought would be gone today.
 
That's just pretty standard 'take it on the chin' if you're an eBay seller, isn't it? All I ever see is sellers complaining the power is all with the buyer.

Which I get wound the fuck up about generally anyway, but this one has fucked me right off. I wonder if immediately relisting will also put people off because it will look false as I’m listing the same thing again.
 
Out two days in a row for food and it's all naughty. Chinese tonight and Zizzi tomorrow. I mean it's all free, but we're on a duet.

I have done so before, someone claimed her kid got a hold of her phone and bid. I can't remember about the feedback though. If you decline the cancellation, and they don't pay up the order gets cancelled anyway and they get a negative mark against their file (not feedback).
