Has he made a good album before? I don't think I've ever heard anything aside from the singles.

this is really good, I had to listen twice. sultry is the word. it's quite fun as well. definitely treads a fine line with that chorus but I'm kinda into it, especially the final time it comes around with the full production.

The album is projected to open with 28-32k in the US, which seems... disappointing. The last album did 40k without a #1 hit.
 
All this drama over the new video.

I think they look fabulous and anyone who has any kind of issue with the video needs to take a long hard look at their own insecurities tbh.

Sam seems to have become the queer artist who it’s apparently OK to throw stones at - on here at any rate
 
Why is Love Me More the opening track? Wasn’t that on another of their earlier albums?
 
The video is fun and a nice level of provocative. The song is indeed a bop.

But I'm struggling to like them. Whatever that mess was with that German girl who was cancelled for very little, didn't do it for me. I'm glad they're doing disco rather than dreary ballads.

A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
 
I quite like the new song. Haven’t seen the video but Sam Smith just does not radiate pop star for me in any way. I think that’s why I have trouble connecting with them. Bless them for trying and having a bit of fun but I find it all so cringe

I feel the vibes are different. Harry Styles is very 'Bowie meets Thatcher in a sensible blouse from a probate sale'. Sam Smith is more 'declared safe and untucking backstage while the judges deliberate'.
