Heroin, mainly.You are in GLASGOW?
What were you doing in this neck of the woods?

I'll bet it's poisoned.Awww the neighbours just gave the kids a bag of Romanian chocolate. Such nice people![]()
Scottish SKAG just hits different!
But it's the sort of thing YOU of all people should excel at. It's not particularly difficult in terms of skill at all - it's all about timing and organisation.Wow that's impressive! I wouldn't even know where to start with something like that.

Probably best stick with Deliveroo then.I will follow a recipe exactly, but I can just never cook anything nice. It goes wrong somewhere

I get that - it IS quite time intensive, and as I don't like roasts that much, I'm not personally convinced it's worth it either. Outside of Christmas I probably only do a roast three or four times a year. Mr L enjoys them far more than me.My other really big issue is that I can't spend hours cooking to eat it in 5 mins. For my mind that's just such a waste of time
It’s so weird isn’t it, because whenever I’ve taken them on trips or done special lessons they often moan throughout, and then when they get back to school they are talking to their peers and parents like they had the best day of their lives. Maybe moaning is part of the enjoyment of an event for children, like it is with the elderly ( @lolly ? )I had one of those why do I bother moments this morning. Set up a lovely Easter egg hunt with clues around the house and garden for the kids and they just moaned their way through.
I had a bit of time out repotting my veg seeds in the afternoon while they seemed to be entertaining themselves. After about an hour they called me over and handed me a basket and a clue. They had set up a hunt for me as they had enjoyed the morning one so much![]()

Oh that was Mr Ag's effort. I had so many things going on at that point, he jumped in. I poured the lamb juice in it, to get it started and off he went.I could so eat that dinner right now @Ag, well done! I'd give you extra points for the gravy, good consistency and looks to be plenty of it. I've been to dinners of friends down south and there's been like half an eggcup of gravy between four people. For (many) northerners the gravy is more important than the veggies.
But we all have complaints, even on the best days. Adults just know when it’s polite to express them and when it’s not.
