It's difficult to get your hands on The Sun newspaper in Liverpool, so be sure to bring MANY, MANY copies with you to hand out as exotic gifts to the locals.

And tell them evil The Sun loving Mel C funded their purchase.

BABE, no one is going to LIVERPOOL for the HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE.

We all want CHEAP DRUGS and BAD PAs by LONG FORGOTTEN EASTERN EUROPEAN WOMEN.
And the gay saunas, even if you say there is none, they'll find them :eyes:
Some hot recommendations for everyone from someone who has visited Liverpool at least twice:

- Take a trip down to the former UNESCO world heritage site to take in some STUNNING NEW BUILDS.
- Stay in Phillip Olivier's Yellow Submarine AirBnB (as seen on 4 in a Bed).
- Caught short on a night out? Fear not, Liverpool is home to some of the world's finest public toilets.

Poor OMF not reading the room / knowing his audience YET AGAIN.

I’ll be in the nice restaurant having cocktails ON MY OWN.

If there ever was a Eurovision to miss, I am so glad I’ve chosen this year. Everything and everywhere is going to be rammed, expensive and uncomfortable. I’ll return when the general plebs have had their fun.

NOT BITTER ABOUT NOT GETTING TICKETS I SEE
I had guaranteed tickets for all the live shows due to being on the fan club committee. At a princely sum of £960. My whole holiday to Gran Canaria where I’ll be instead for 12 nights cost a few hundred less than that.

To be honest I’m feeling a bit jaded with the whole Eurovision merry got round at the moment. I really need a proper relaxing holiday of which Eurovision week isn’t. And as much as I think Liverpool is an ace city I just didn’t want to spend north of £2000 on a week in the UK.

I think this needs a poll. TICKETS TO THE LIVE SHOWS feat. King K and Queen Loreen vs two weeks of parading round with your fanny drooping out at the YUMBO CENTRE

This will be the first Eurovision I’ve missed since Moscow, apart from Rotterdam which doesn’t really count as it wasn’t a full Eurovision experience anyway. I felt it was time for a year off. I’m sure I’ll be back.

It’s not about the cost so much more about the fact I don’t even get to go abroad for that.
I have to say (well, I technically don’t :tongueout:) that if I were going and it were being held in Glasgow, I would regard that as being sufficiently abroad. It has things we don’t such as macaroni pie, Buckfast bloody marys and of course SCOTTISH LARDER theme week at Lidl :disco:

Note that these are all food and alcohol related :tongueout: (although actually the accent makes it seem quite exotic as well :disco:)

Don’t forget heart disease!

Are Buckfast Bloody Marys even a THING? I don’t even think any bars SELL Buckfast here.

Pretty sure I recall them being on a cocktail menu when I was there last weekend.

NO THANKS
