It will ALMOST be a shame when this flops, as likely the message Jesy will take is that she needs to go back to what she was trying to do first time around

I’m struggling to have any emotion for this whatsoever.

I think I preferred her when she was hateful.
 
#6 on iTunes which I expect is rather disappointing

Are there genuinely people who derive pleasure from that vocal?

I'm not a fan of her voice generally, but the affectation renders it excruciating.

To be fair this could have been her 'Mi Chico Latino' and by that point Geru had touched the NATION with her inspo singals.


But Jesy has not.
 
Jesy was a great vocalist though. and presumably had good pop instincts once in the group.

I think she just has garbage taste, shitty references to pull from and no clue who she wants to be. she seems way too lost in image and superficiality to really be serious about making some half decent music.

Agree with that, they are all capable vocalists and her image and what surrounds her at the moment is a bit too much to shrug I think, what with the lack of direction
 
As much as I wish that was true, I believe those are just its partial first day streams (NZ, Australia, Japan etc) rather than its first proper day.
 
It's not in the top 200 on UK Spotify. #200 is a Tame Impala track with under 68k.
 
She really needs far less control. Bung her to a label that realises the only way forward for her is a prodigal daughter returned weepy apology tour around the telly studios, and a song that basically hits all the beats Xtina - Beautiful did. You need to do what the masses of basics want from you first to get licence to do anything else!
 
where is the PROMO? She was not even on the new Laura Whitmore show this morning!
