Hot egg chat only plz. Feel free to publicly shame each other.

I've always liked them.

Not too fussed but I wouldn’t CHOOSE to eat them.

Some things are sure in this life.

Night becomes day. Summer turns into Winter. Death comes to us all. And Moopy will succumb to hot egg chat once in a while.

Eggs are one of my favourite things in the world...

...except if they're over scrambled, which is horrible. I like mine the consistency of very thick cream! :disco:

EGG RATE:

1. Soft boiled
2. Soft scrambled
3. Fried
4. Poached
5. Egg Mayonnaise
6. En Cocotte
7. Hard Boiled
8. Omelette
9. Over scrambled

Anyway, I accept eggs in the following dishes

- Dippy egg
- Salad Nicoise
- Egg mayo sandwich but ONLY if part of a cream tea, not a whole one please
- Fry up
- Omelette sometimes
- Coronation quiche

and of course

Scrambled eggs, a la francaise

Yes, much to the disgust of my vegan boyfriend.

I don't actively go out of my way to have them on the regular, but a good poached or fried egg does add to a cooked breakfast.

Hard boiled, soft boiled, sunny side up. Poached is very hit and miss for me, sometimes the runny yolk leaves a bad after taste.

My favourite ever EGG, though is on sourdough with butter and avocado with chilli mashed on it, runny fried egg on top, sriracha all over all of it.

DRIBBLES

Love eggs cooked all ways - poached, boiled, fried, scrambled, in that order, I think

I bought a egg poacher last weekend 😍

I have fried eggs almost every morning. Normally grate a load of cheese over them, then at the last minute before serving, fold them over, burst the yolk and let the yolk fry for about 10 seconds. I then dump them on a toasted bagel and cover them in whichever filthy condiment is in the fridge. The partly fried, partly runny yolk is the tits.

Ordered a burger the other day and paid an extra pound to put a fried egg in it. Yum!

Wimpy Egg Burgers from the 80s-90s were brilliant.

I am a big fan of huevos rancheros.

But i think that's mostly because the salsa hides the taste of egg.
