Tuesday gets a crown

Back in the office to a positive shedload of e-mails and other crap. Nothing requiring prayer however, so save those for @Star. 🙏

What are you having done @Star ?

I met up for drinks with my dentist last week, apparently she was meant to crown my root canal I had 2 years ago 🤦🏻‍♀️

Today is glucose curve day for heathcliff again, we have one more reading to do before we go out so I'm hoping he doesn't drop too low 😬

Also @Diggi-lol Diggi-ly what's Bristol pride like? Have I asked this already
Jolly good fun, both the march and the festival. In fact I've had an email only this morning asking if I'd like to take place in the march as part of my organisation. I won't though - I'll either just observe it or march with a friend or two.

Have you seen the line up this year? It's Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, Natalie Imbruglia, Nadine Coyle, Denise Pearson from 5 Star and a few of the other usual suspects.

I'll definitely be going, if that makes your mind up one way or the other!

Hello. Finally woke up not feeling tired. Deffos think it was the ronies, but also realised I was having quite a lot of edible weed in the evenings, so think not having a greenover has helped too.

Either way, I'm BACK IN THE GAME and procrastinating at an expert level today, none of this half arsed tossing off.

Oh god two hours with my mouth wide open, and apparently I have a small mouth. He did the temporary crown today for 4 weeks, and then he'll fit the final crown. Just wants to make sure this one doesn't set off any other trouble.

😬 Dental work is the worst. I sympathise.

Yeah the line up is why Mandy wants to go. I was undecided but as my mum is here to pet sit and I'm off I feel I should go.

Where would be a good area to find a hotel? Also, can we meet up?

Do you want to do both the march (which is very central) and the festival (slightly less so) - and I'm assuming Mandy will be concerned about parking?

I think just the festival, although if we are there for the march we will go. And yes she needs parking.

I've just been PMing a MYSTERY MOOPER who may also be in attendance about this :o

I guessed that the parking may be an issue for Mandy, but if you're not so bothered about the march I'd recommend staying closer to the festival. Look at hotels/rentals in Clifton (where we had that pizza THE NIGHT BEFORE MY DAD DIED, DO YOU REMEMBER?) or Redland. They won't be cheap though. There are far more places like Premier Inn/Travelodge/Ibis etc more centrally, but you'll be looking at getting a bus to ferry you up, or a tenner or so cab fare.

Bristol isn't THAT big though - it won't be a chore if you're relatively central. Just avoid those new ones at Cribbs Causeway you've been to before, because it will be two buses each way out there, and I doubt you could stay late and make it back by public transport.

Who is the mystery mooper :o

Yeah we are definitely avoiding Cribbs, I wasn't a fan at all.

I vaguely remember the pizza place! We were looking at the Clifton area but it's not cheap. I'll check Redland.

What time does it all start? We are thinking of getting the 8am ish ferry so should be in Bristol by about 12.
