That is huge on Spotify. If it keeps this up they will surely add it to the Hot Hits playlist which has huge reach and just being on it propels songs up. So essentially so far this is all organic which is a SHOCK but fuck me its a welcome one :disco:

She could hold top 30 at this rate and it could well have legs the way we are going :disco:

If we still had the TRL chart I think Padam would be requested a lot and potentially a daily number 1.
 
As I've been Tina Turner iTunes watching, I just noticed it's #1. Has it been there ever since release?

1,900 ‘sold‘ yesterday, up from 1,400 the day before which is quite the daily gain. I’d say she’s a lock for top 30 now at this rate and could even match or better her Monday midweek :o
 
This is definitely gaining not sinking. It might take her a week to build momentum chart wise but that’s quite normal these days - the industry is now well accepting of organic breakthroughs.

I can't allow myself to think it, at least yet. And I'm not entirely sure I know what constitutes a proper hit any more anyway.
 
Someone on UKmix has posted the direct comparison of Say Something v Padam Padam. It's comfortably ahead every day, but now it's doing over 3x the streams on Spotify that Say Something was doing (165k to 518.5k).

And wasn't Say Something seen as a streaming success (at least relatively speaking) for her?
