Phillip Schofield's Career DEAD? 🤷‍♀️ The Castaway Years (1 Viewer)

It really is quite something how utterly deranged some people are but just give a deflated shrug to the actual horror surrounding them

Yeah after reading that BBC summary I feel painfully sorry for him.

He's seemingly not done anything illegal and I think by now if he had, it'd all be coming out... It sounded like Holmes had some dirt on him but then nothing?

Sure he's done bad, or "unwise" things. Upholding an apparently toxic culture, potentially abusing a power dynamic, and cheating on his wife. But even with the latter it's their business and it seems to me it's fairly commonplace (to the point I question how many couples can realistically keep it 100% to themselves and no one else for potentially their whole lives, but that's the open relationship part of me talking) you don't see everyone who cheats on their partner having their lives and careers ruined and hounded to the point of near suicide. It's just not proportionate :(

I've just got the "Phil has done a runner joke"!

What done a runner joke?

Lots of people were making a joke about not having seen Phillip and that apparently he'd done a runner. But I didn't get it and couldn't work out why it was supposed to be funny.

But now I do get it.

Who knew Rita was such a popular name? (For the over 50’s? I am NOT there yet :oi:)

The only Ritas I know of other than our Rita are all late 60s+ or dead.
