I thought a new Chvrches album was on the way? I will listen with a bit of TREPIDATION as her voice can be a bit MUCH sometimes.
I gave a listen to a Lo Moon album recently (fronted by her boyfriend) so if he has any influence over it we can expect some moody indie pieces. I wouldn't hate that.

Lauren was the support act for London grammar, joining them at the end for lose your head was a highlight
Her solo stuff is pretty great too, crocodile tears, something in the air and are you awake are all 10/10 for me

It isn't a bad album but does feel like a bit of a mishmash. Maybe that was intentional as Chvrches could feel cohesive almost to a fault. I think I prefer her vocal bathed in their lovely synths though.
