Especially as I’d be very angry everytime Evanescence gets closer to the final.

Obviously they'd been largely dripppy shit from day one, but I feel like that was the point they stopped even pretending it was anything more than a dead-eyed cash grab for the terminally uncritical. I don't think they ever had another major hit that wasn't a cover again after that?

I hated them with a fiery passion at the time, but in retrospect I have a soft spot for the very first run of singles, Flying Without Wings excepted. My Love was probably as close as the UK charts got in the 00s to embracing Swedish-style schlager.

I still hate them apart from World of our Own and When You’re Looking Like That.

Take That are the band I hated but warmed to over time. It’s gone back to a general dislike now after seeing that dreadful musical.
