I've definitely fallen down a K(ylie) hole with this. It's a new realm of Minogue - not coming out of it anytime soon. But yeah, for me the video doesn't really work in action despite the actual great visuals and concept. Just counting the seconds until we get an extended edit of this epoch. I do hope gaycentric areas are well stocked in chilli-eh-eh-eh and that staff (supermarkets and Homebase alike) are prepared to hear it being asked in such a manner.
 
The video for me is brilliant. My personal fave section the yellow showgirl Kylie on the table, cracks me up EVERY TIME:disco:
 
I love the video now too. The glaringly obvious subtext helps.

She also looks amazing in that jumper dress.
 
Even after a few listens I don't think it's anything special if I'm honest

This needs more memes. The Exorcist one reigns supreme but the others I have seen aren't much cop
 
It will be interesting to see which radio stations take note. Kiss FM has played it already.

Well that’s good news.

But also, she’s nowhere near top 20 on Apple Music, right? So is this just first video views and great downloads then?

THE CHARTS ARE SO CONFUSING.
 
At last count I think she was at #33 on Apple Music. Bear in mind, Padam was nowhere near that at the same stage.
 
She's up to #31 on Apple music. #1 on iTunes. Top 40 on Amazon Music too.
 
It's very heavily due to downloads.

It took Padam a long time to build to the level Tension is already, so the question is can she maintain it or is this massively frontloaded because of the success of Padam. It's early days but looking very good, surely.
 
I wonder if the time of year will hurt it, since Padam really snowballed going into summer and Pride season and Tension won't have that. Even if September is quite nice weather-wise these things usually take a few weeks to cut through to the general public, right?

I honestly don't know what they were thinking including 10/10.

Talk about ruining a streak.
 
Yes, the fact that 10/10 is on the main tracklist is the one black mark on my otherwise feverish anticipation for the album. Were they expecting it to be a big hit? It’s crap!
