Happy Bi Visibility Week to all who celebrate. May you wake up to lots of cock and minge under your pillow on bimas day xo

Morning all. It's Musique Concrète Monday and I have some Luc Ferrari on the hi-fi. I know how to par-tay!

Week off for me. Got up a couple of hours ago as was planning to go to the garden centre to buy a few shrubs. Looked at the weather, thought better of it, made coffee and came back to bed.

Currently very happy to be sitting on the bed surrounded by three cats, doing nothing other than listening to podcasts, but I don't want the whole week to go like this. And the forecast is shit.

I am fucking knackered. I will be finishing the working day horizontally on the sofa

Moopy Londoners - is the Design Museum worth an hour or two?

I meant in general - it's not only visiting exhibitions, is it?

Ron Jr has 10 bits of homework this week, absurd. No wonder kids leave school full of anxiety.

I had to take my Mum to the dentist this morning and I haven't got much work going (which is KINDA WORRYING, but ok, I'll deal with that bit later), so I took the day off basically and have been to the allotment, harvested potatoes and tomatoes for dinner tonight, picked up a load of pears and apples that have fallen and made a shitload of chutney, some of which I'll eat, some of which I'll foist upon people as bonus Christmas presents. I even used up the end of last year's pickled onions in a peppercorn sauce for dinner. I feel positively BARBARA GOOD- like right now.

Now to find something to do with the rest of those fucking pears that no one wants...

I don't think there's very much permanent stuff at all. But I've only been once (for an electronic music exhibition) and it was mid-pandemic so they'd shut off a lot of it.

You have got Japan House and Whole Foods up the road though which are both good for a pootle about if you did end up with time to kill.

PERRY

I was all set to make cider and perry after last year's glut. My trees have decided to not bother this year.

But I don't have ANY equipment or really space to store anything.

I had the reverse problem- zero pears last year, hundreds this.

The weather turned out not bad at all (well, a bit windy), so I thought I'd come for a walk around the harbour, and see if a guy I used to work with who has just bought a houseboat in the marina was at home. Couldn't find him (or the boat), and although it's a lovely spot, I couldn't help but wonder if it will be a bit grim in the middle of winter.

I'd imagine that would be remarkably less grim than any suburban hellscape in winter.

I have a couple of pre-orders due this week...Kylie not one of them, I'll admit. After the fandango with 'Disco', I'm hanging on for the inevitable 26th December price drop.

I hadn’t pre-ordered Tension but have finally done so.

I went for boring old black vinyl cause I want the proper cover.

I genuinely don't remember what I've ordered, other than it was a bundle and had the deluxe CD.
