Tuesday is SO ANGRY

So I took up a one week guest pass at the gym round the corner from my place in Rhodes.

The guys in here... :eyes:

Well, that took longer than expected. Painting a hallway is a bugger v painting a room because you can't just roller 90% of it because of all the doors inconveniently getting in the way. Still, it needed done.
Bit late now but you can buy radiator rollers which are only about four inches wide, ideal for doing in between door frames. They were originally made for rollering the wall behind radiators.

I hope you painted it Bordeaux

I was going to post this in the Random Things You Hate thread, but it just may be me being utterly stupid and missing something.

Why, for long twitter threads are there so many people asking @threadreaderapp to unroll the thread, when often dozens have already? Are they all getting something different?

If they can't be bothered reading the thread, they're probably not going to read the comments to find that out.

I did not know this and yet it makes perfect sense - why wouldn't there be such a thing? I'll remember for next time.

This is a new irk of mine. I'd like to see what people are genuinely commenting about the thread and all the mentions are people asking it to be unrolled. What FOR? Are they saving it down as a word doc to reminisce over five years later? I think it's just a way of getting noticed by the thread author, but WHY.

Also there's something about twitter threads that make them work as numerous short sharp pieces and not PARAGRAPHS. There was one I read a this morning about a guy's train being cancelled and his arduous trip back to Edinburgh from Preston. That would be so BORING in prose- form.

That's the exact thread I noticed it on :D
