I totally knew it when Ag said he knew who'd won. Don't think he's ever liked that pastiche stuff. OH WELL. I'm thrilled with second! I didn't expect it at all!

Thanks @funky! This was brilliantly hosted, and the scoreboards and SEXY STATS were unmatched.

I realise the ASFM response feels a bit cooler these days, but I do think there's still life in it for those of us that are still here! I have an actual CHILD now and I'm still sitting here giddy at coming second in a gay chat longe contest, so yeah.
 
Well that run went about as well as B*Witched's chart trajectory. But top 10 is top 10 and frankly a relief after those last votes :D

I was worried that today would be quiet after all the effort gone in to make it a proper results show, but the turnout was good so I'm happy.
 
Amazing show @funky and I loved the winner too!

Think this is possibly my second-best ASFM result ever which isn’t bad for a song I entered at the very very last minute after frantically searching my phone for a song with “Dance” in the title. Obviously I usually overthink it…
 
Congratulations @SystemAddict. I'm always quite fond of/amused by a winner of a themed ASFM barely fitting the theme taking the crown (no shade, 90% of us were guilty of it this round!):D
 
Debating whether Discovision 2 should have a more strict criteria in terms of Disco/Dance but it might put people off. That said on the whole I think the diversity of the playlist and the different takes on disco was GREAT.

Apologies for the late reply, I was here at the start but collapsed onto my fainting couch midway through the results. I’ve since recovered thanks to smelling salts (or poppers) and I want to thank everyone who voted for me, especially @RJN, @GNL, @jyxz, @Berly, @AleX, @Saltwater, @Kala, @Music, @Kratz, @D5K, and @GinAg (39) for the high marks.

I know the song is more pop-dance rather than all-out dance but I love the production, hook, powervox and PWL style drum rolls. It all felt quite Fun for Moopy circa 2011.

In a contest with such strong entries, it’s an honour to come out on top :ken: so thank you again.

I’ll do it if no one else volunteers, but I won’t be able to start until next week, for scheduling reasons, so anyone else should feel free to jump in.
