No frying, just water. I kept it chunky as I find blended veg just mush.
Oh I finely chop everything. A casserole would be far chunkier.I always feel that's therefore a vegetable casserole rather than a soup, but I realise this is not the popular opinion...
I'd never even thought of going down an acidic route for soup. I always default to spice.I usually throw lots of thyme into a vegetable soup. And something acidic lifts the flavour as well - a squeeze of lemon juice or some balsamic.
Yeah I did that once and it was exactly that.Maybe I shouldn't have blended mine. That could have been my mistake. It turned into bland baby food.
I think the idea is that an acid adds an entirely different flavour profile into the mix. I'd definitely do it as well as, not instead of any herbs or spices you like.I'd never even thought of going down an acidic route for soup. I always default to spice.
Although I'm a bit obsessed with lime at the moment.
Joanna Dee’s?Good morning Meepy, I'm having a lie in today. Have been in work early, staying late or both all week (and was in for most of yesterday) so I feel I've earned it
We have Mr COB's mother staying with us now, she arrived yesterday afternoon so we're going to show her the sights today![]()

Oh you can bake them too if u want them to be less oily. You need fyllo either fresh or fully defrosted which you willl cut in pieces that you later on will fold to do the triangular shape. And you need feta and an egg (if you're making more than 12 add another egg). You smash little feta chunks with your hands into a bowl and mix them with the egg and a little ground pepper. Then you take a spoon and fill your fyllo cuts, then fold it tightly so it doesn't leak away, put it in the oven at around 180 degrees for sth like 15 minutes.I was thinking of the smaller baked ones.

They’re top notch chintz! We have similarly personalised stockings for no reason whatsoever…Bit obsessed with these chintzy decoration/ likely permanent additions. Pure glittery joy.
