The luxury of getting up for work 5 minutes before you actually started working and not having to worry about bus train taxi commute time

I am somewhat clinical but was still calling myself a HERO KEYWORKER for monthsJumping to the front of the queue at supermarkets with my NHS badge despite not being remotely clinical![]()

I didn’t get a single hour off having been inexplicably categorised as a key worker. #fuminThe first few months where I was furloughed.
Same. I wouldn’t have minded so much if it was all of us, but our work sorted through the workforce to identify the ‘key teams’ they needed to keep on at all times. Then we’d have Friday meetings on Teams and the people who were furloughed would swap around on rotation every 3 weeks. They’d literally be on laptops sunning themselves in a garden going “byeee, see you next month” while the rest of us sat in a stuffy room every day.I didn’t get a single hour off having been inexplicably categorised as a key worker. #fumin

In PERTHSHIRE!?I remember painting outside with my easel in a bikini
I was pretty good, to the point that I watched the presidential election night coverage outside on the balcony to remain within the rules, and exchanged Christmas presents outside with my parents while watching literally every other house on the street break the rules.I must ask though. Did everyone stick to the rules? I was very stringent with them initially but by Christmas we had gave up with them completely and were sick fed up.

Same. Which was complete and utter bullshit. But my boss was a bastard.I didn’t get a single hour off having been inexplicably categorised as a key worker. #fumin
The only rule I broke was when everything opened up and we were restricted to socialising with one other “bubbled” household. For my 40th birthday meal, we went out with technically 3 households worth.I must ask though. Did everyone stick to the rules? I was very stringent with them initially but by Christmas we had gave up with them completely and were sick fed up.

I was until the December when Wonder Woman 2 came out and I went on three buses to Harrogate Everyman Cinema because they weren't under such strict rules. It was such a thrill seeing everything open.I must ask though. Did everyone stick to the rules? I was very stringent with them initially but by Christmas we had gave up with them completely and were sick fed up.
Yes, otherwise you were risking to pay a fine if u were caught outside with no declared purpose. You had to ask permission to go for a walk?

The only way to go for a run was pretending to be searching for a lost dogWhat if you were caught without a dog?![]()
Was living in a village at the time, the txt msgs thing was trying to regulate the movement in urban population, in reality nobody was paying attention to us.What if you were caught without a dog?![]()
Yes, I STILL carry an amount of resentment about that. As well as an equal amount of gratitude that I could carry on working as I'm quite sure I'd have lost the plot if I hadn't.I didn’t get a single hour off having been inexplicably categorised as a key worker. #fumin
