Sunday can't decide which foreign radio station to listen to

Once you've seen them a few times, they're never more interesting.
 
I love a firework but I’m never hosting my own.

Living where I do, I get SO MANY free shows a year I really don’t need to worry.

In reality, they are a bit boring unless it’s a properly spectacular display.
 
Fireworks are just an annoying way to burn money. SSSSSSSSSSSSS-PHWEEEEEP....................BANG. Yeah, spectacular, now fuck off.
 
I’ve just discovered a bottle of CREMANT in the wine fridge so in honour of Lucille, I’ve gone out to the local sauna with a ready lubed hole and a salt and vinegar grab bag I’ve cracked it open.

Yeah, I don't get it. Organised displays, lovely.

One at a time in someone's garden? Less so.

Mr Sheena doesn’t deny me the right of how I watch anything but constantly says he can’t tell the difference.

He also says he can’t tell the difference between the sound the tv makes on its own and when it’s through a Sonos Beam, though, so he’s clearly a WANKER.

The thought did cross my mind but I can’t face the misery and guilt as I spend all day in bed tomorrow crying about the state of my life whilst he is sober.
 
I hope everyone has a lovely New Year! We were out at a panto earlier, but are home now - got an invite to a friend's place, but it's on the other side of the city and I just couldn't face getting back :tongueout:

I'm listening to the Fall. I know, not like me but I have at least, for continuity, gone with their December 1983 album, Perverted By Language. After the bells, I'll have their 1984 album (now that I finally have a nice pressing of it).
 
Mind you, no point in playing nice vinyl when there's fireworks going off.
 
Could be watching Kylie instead of playing the same Cards Against Humanity pack that we've played at my friends' house for the last three years :bruised: RIP

Drama is brewing here anyway, people who couldn't be arsed to turn up have organised their own separate NYE gathering. My electrolytes are being replenished

BBC Scotland's Hogmanay comedy was actually good this year. Genuinely laughed out loud.
