I wouldn't have had a cliffhanger at all. Just end this episode with the reaction to the banishment, and start tomorrow from Traitor's tower. Episodes can have satisfying resolutions sometimes, not everything needs a cliffhanger

Was just thinking this. Even more reason why knowing Meg is the next murder is unhelpful for the show - it's an anti-climax however they end the episode.

How did Paul’s mini similar meltdown not gauge a similar reaction? Instead we get gormless Andrew declaring that Paul is ‘100% faithful’.
